Coffee In The Morning Is Overrated

I love my mornings without coffee
I don’t remember the last time I voluntarily wanted to drink pop or artificial juices. I am more of a tea and water girl. I also don’t drink coffee. People have asked me how I can function in the morning without coffee, a.k.a, “are you human?” but I think caffeine and me just don’t mix. If there is ever a thing called being a light weight coffee drinker, that’s me.
Instead, I have gotten into the routine to drink lemon and organic, local honey mixed with hot water in the morning 30 minutes before I eat. Why? Not only is it an ideal drink for detoxing your body in the morning, but also I have crazy seasonal allergies, and evidently, it may possibly improve your symptoms over time. Today, there is so much that we consume that contain a vast amount of chemicals like pesticides and fertilizers, and drinking this natural solution can help act as a liver tonic by neutralizing and flushing out the toxins you accumulate in your body.
Lemon Honey Water:
• 1 glass of water (hot)
• 1 table spoon of local organic honey
• ½ of a lemon
• Drink in the morning 30 min before you eat (most effective)

• aids and improves digestion
• helps the absorption of nutrients
• detox chemicals and toxins from our body

I encourage those who haven’t tried this to get out of your comfort zone and test it out for a couple of weeks. It is something that will be amazing for your body when you are doing it consistently. If you’re a no coffee gal like me, this is a must try.
